Costa Rica

After 16 hours of travelling we arrived in Costa Rica. We moved from a 5 star all inclusive resort with 24 hour service to a 3 star all inclusive where everything closes at 10:00. I tried to get something to eat when we arrived here at 9:45 and they had nothing. The bar closes at 10:00 and I couldn`t even get a coke. Even the front desk closes at 10:00. We went to the room and when Mary went into the bathroom, she screamed as we had a friend living there, a gekko. The sheets didn`t fit the bed and where knobby and the bathroom toilet was dirty. The lawn chair on the balcony is threadbare. There is no way you could use it. Needless to say, we were not mpressed. So we started looking around for another hotel today. We got another room with a full kitchen for 100.00 less a night than we are paying here. It is four star but is not all inclusive. It is certainly an upgrade from where we are now. I recommend when travelling you ALWAYS stay at nothing less than a four star place.
