More Mexico City Photos

Here are a few more photos of Mexico City.

 After a long hard day of picking up garbage, this guy climbs on top of the heap and makes a phone call.
An example of the murals painted by Diego Rivero. He was a famous Mexican artist and painted murals in the presidential palace about the history of Mexico.


 Oh look, another church!


 This is the opera threatre and home of the national symphony.

The pyramid dig with the city in the background. Under all of these buildings they believe there is another layer of the city from Aztec times. It would cost an absolute fortune to have an archelogical dig under the buildings.

Lots of interesting history there what with both the Spanish and indigenous influences.
