Atlixco Mexico

On Saturday, we drove out to a  town called Atlixco. It is only 19 km from Puebla but it is much lover in altitude abd warner so plants and flowers are blooming year round. We had a fantastice dinner immersed in plants, flowers and Mexican culture. Here are some photos of the day.

What a great meal we had.

Part of our surroundings of plants and water features.

This was in a museum we went to after dinner.

This is a bouganvilla tree.

This was at the restaurant.

See the guy cutting the meat away from the skewer. We tried turkey wrapped in bacon, filet mignon, beef cooked several different ways, ribs, pork, etc. There was also a HUGE salad bar inside that we absolutely loved and as you can see there is no shortage of food. All this for $27 which includes dessert and drinks. There is no end to the amount of food you can eat. There's a wooden thing that Ernesto is holding in the picture, that you turn. Green color is more and when you flip it to the red side, it means no more thank you. Gord and Tim, you would love this place.
This was taken from the rooftop of an Italian Coffee Place and we sat for an hour in a very peaceful setting.

It's nice to see some of the things we saw when I was there.
